Pants Design and Construction, by Judy Barlup

$18.00

How much time do you spend fitting a pants pattern? How much time do you spend searching for just the right pattern with all the design features and the hem width you want. Then if you do find a pattern, you have to fit that one, too. Why not start with a basic flat front darted pattern that fits and add the design details of your choice?

Using this book is like a Chinese restaurant menu but, instead of selecting food, you select design features. Select a silhouette from column 1, pick a pocket from column 2, choose a closure from column 3, and find a waistline finish from column 4.

Instructions show how to adjust the pattern and give step by step construction techniques for making quality pants using efficient methods. Also included: adjusting hem width, belt loops, lining and much more.

Start with the best basic pants pattern on the market, the JSM Pants Pattern from www.JSMpatterns.com.
